Aerial Survey of a 34 km Highway Corridor

Survey flights were flown with an RTK-enabled fixed-wing drone along the corridor, with ground control and check points distributed to verify absolute accuracy.

Processing produced a 3 cm/pixel orthophoto map and a digital elevation model, which then drove horizontal and vertical alignment design and cut/fill quantity computation in Civil 3D.
